When you run this patch, it will appear as if you are re-installing DBT. Actually, it is updating just a single file, duxmacro.doc. This patch is not password protected.
"Expired Certificate" Downloadable Patch (dated 2002-10-11) is for version 10.4 It fixes the a problem of an expired digital signature. In DBT Win, the ability to preserve hard page breaks (this is selected in Global, Word Importer, Mark Print Page Breaks) is executed with a Word macro. Since it is possible to have a Word macro infected with a virus, we apply a digital signature to demonstrate that people can trust our macro, duxmacro.doc. People using this feature have started getting numerous error messages that the digital signature has expired. Using this patch ends these annoying error messages. Further, the replacement file is constructed in such a way that it should never expire (it was tested with a computer whose date was set at 2060).
