Euro (€)

At the beginning of 2002 many European countries changed their currency over to the Euro.

One Euro contains 100 Cents.

DBT correctly translates the Euro Symbol to dot 4 + e for English.

On some computer keyboards, hold down the RIGHT hand Alt Gr key, and press the 4 key above the alphabetical keys.

On other keyboards the Euro is produced as follows:

Turn on the Numlock function (Press numlock key)

>Make sure that you are using a font that supports the Euro symbol, and then follow these steps:

Hold down the ALT key.

Using the numeric keypad, type 0128.

Release the ALT key.

The Euro symbol should appear on the screen.

(Screen reader users should be aware of possible keyboard conflicts)
