Freedom Scientific VersaPoint

picture of the Freedom Scientific VersaPoint

The VersaPoint was originally produced by Telesensory (TSI). In the spring of 1998, Blazie Engineering purchased the blindness (and braille) products of Telesensory. In April 2000, Freedom Scientific purchased Blazie Engineering.

The VersaPoint had 4 models (A through D). The units had numerous glitches that showed themselves when you attempted to make full use of the braille page. Mixing text and graphics on a VersaPoint was also challenging.
