Beginner Braille now built into MegaDots 2.5

Beginner Braille adds a Grade Two braille teaching aid to your MegaDots. With Beginner Braille's comprehensive menu of contractions, you choose the level of braille most appropriate for each student. You can tailor the level of contractions in any kind of document, from history and science texts to song lyrics and poetry. If you are using the APH Patterns Series or Braille Too, you simply tell Beginner Braille which level in the series to use for translating your document. Or if you are using your own customized teaching sequence toward Grade 2 Braille, it's a snap to choose the allowable contractions from a menu, and add new ones as your student progresses.

Beginner Braille was created to give you the power to teach students at their own pace. When you customize the list of contractions used in translating your document, Beginner Braille automatically assures your document contains only the contractions you want. This way, you can use a different set of contractions for each student based on what they've learned so far.

MegaDots and Beginner Braille help students learn and educators teach braille simply and quickly. You control the level of contractions, you provide braille documents fit to each student, and you can save and review each set of contractions to monitor one or one hundred students' progress. Beginner Braille paves the way for primary and secondary students, as well as adult learners, to improve their braille literacy.
