Generally, after you install DBT for the first time, you need to attend to a few "house-keeping" chores, such as setting up your braille embosser and ink printer.
When you select the Global menu, it presents you with a list of all the important aspects of configuring your personal DBT installation, from setting up an embosser to selecting preferences for importing documents.
